This was a rebrand for Gold Brick Jewellers by a company called Everit, I havent seen any imagery from their previous branding, but i think the new identity is very sucessful. It still looks like a professional jewellers but it is fresha and new and is up to date and modern. If i wanted to buy gold jewellery i would rather go somewhere like this than some older jeweller with a very genric dated identity, but i also think that this would appeal to an older audince and a high class market than myself.
Particular elements that have rally grabed my attention are the cabinates, they are quite deep and have a large displace space and no obstructions on the glass. Unlike the cabinates at H.Samuel where they are square and have a metal devider inbetween the pains of class so its obstructin the eyeline to the jewellery.
Also the Gold Brick cabinates are free standing with space underneith, this creates a more relaxed atmosphere, however there is less space for storage so this could be an issue. The H.Samuel cambinates are all joined together in one big block and in a contained circle, this is a bit more of a daunting atmosphere as they are constantly behind the counter and its up to you to talk to them rather than them walking around offering customers assistance
I really feel store has some really sucessful elements and i would like to try encorporate some of these into out rebranding.
