DDB - Philips energy saving campaign

This is a great advertisement campaign for Philips energy saving light bulbs. Very much like my own work at the moment they have used glow in the dark inks on the posters so that only when its dark can you see what they are advertising! Very clever idea, but it doesn't seem to have any sort of information on it, not even the companies name!

Found of Graphic Exchange i am drawn to this pack of publications and how they are arranged. There is a sleeve that holds them all together when it could look messy without. Something like this is a great way to contain things together and an easy way to access them.

Jeff Lai

Jeff Lai has used Glow in the dark inks to get people to switch of their lights, very similar to what I am aiming to do. These advertisements are very subtle in the daylight but when the lights are turned of the they glow to reveal the message. It hopefully makes people want to save on energy and realise that we can see more with the lights off (when it comes to astronomy anyway)

Adris Group - Good Ideas Glow in the Dark

This is the annual report for Adris Group, but i can find out who their designer was so bit disappointing as this is a great piece of design that is very relevant to what I am looking into at the moment.

This book is completely blank, white cover white with no writing nothing, untill the lights go off, then it comes to life! The cover and spine are printed with glow in the dark paint so that it is only revealed when the lights are off.

After some sceptical views on my brief to package candles for men i had a look around at some packaging for candles and how to actually loose the very feminine view on them. These are a great set of packaging for candles that relate to song lyrics as well as relevant to a candle, i think this would work in getting people to buy this product FOR men, rather than men themselves buying it. This is something I think I'm going to alter within the brief  as it will give me more to work with and a better audience to aim for.

Tristan O'Shannessy

What a great idea for a book, the new pop up book. All the pages in this book fold out and out again to reveal more design, this is a great way to get people interacting with books today and enjoying the experience.

I especially like the way they have designed the map to fold out, having it confined into the book and then bit by bit folding out to actual size while having relevant information throughout.

I got quite excited when I saw this on Behance as I had this idea of containing the ticket within the leaflet so that it was more accessibly and so I really like how they have attached this centre leaflet within the first leaflet.
